What was the “MPF Life in Focus” competition?

In January 2011, the MPFA ran an inter-university multimedia contest inviting students to shoot three-minute videos promoting MPF management and investment messages, with winners interning at the MPFA that summer. Entries went on Facebook and YouTube for public voting; training workshops featured award-winning director Teddy Chan, director Wong Tsz-kwong and creative talent Cheung Tat-ming. The previous year’s radio contest was won by CUHK students rapping the MPF investment journey.

Why target universities?

Many students already held MPF accounts from part-time jobs but chose funds without matching their needs; the MPFA wanted “soon-to-be graduates” to learn proper MPF knowledge before entering the workforce.
