The MPFA has recovered about $91,000 in MPF arrears and surcharges from four employers — Lung Wah Royal Palace Restaurant Ltd, Wing Chak Construction Ltd, Way Yu Ltd and Carpe Diem Publications Ltd — on behalf of 14 employees.

Where do recovered arrears go?

Recovered sums go into the employees’ MPF accounts. Employers also pay surcharges on top — defaulting never pays.
