What did the MPFA say in 2010?

A November 2010 MPFA column noted fund performance directly affects members, but trustees disclosed it differently with no common standard — members couldn’t compare wisely. So the MPFA drafted a disclosure code for consultation: trustees would issue fund fact sheets at least twice a year carrying 1-, 5-, 10-year and since-launch annualised compound returns for systematic comparison.

What else is in a fact sheet?

Beyond returns, the top ten holdings by net asset value at the reporting date; members can analyse performance from the asset mix when choosing or switching.
