What is the “Records of Non-compliant Employers and Officers”?

In June 2011, Financial Secretary’s deputy Chan Ka-keung told lawmakers the MPFA had launched a public register of criminal convictions and civil judgments under the MPF Ordinance, then holding 3,700 records covering over 2,300 employers. As with other court records, the data is public; the MPFA said the move boosted enforcement transparency and deterrence to protect employees.
