Survey: 30% of post-80s save part of their income

A survey of the post-80s generation found about 30% of respondents save 20–30% of their monthly income for retirement. It also showed many young people know too little about retirement planning.

How do young people view retirement?

Many post-80s have started saving, but their understanding of tools like MPF needs work. Planning early is the key to building an adequate retirement reserve.

Any advice?

Wealth experts advise young people to harness MPF’s long-term compounding, review portfolios regularly, and consider voluntary contributions to top up their reserves.
