What happened on 13 May 2011?

The MPFA won two District Court orders: two employers had to pay HK$815,000 in defaulted contributions — Ka Yik Professional Cleaning (162 staff) HK$485,300.06 and Choi Wai Group (116 staff) HK$329,899.87, plus surcharges. The same day the MPFA filed Small Claims Tribunal actions for 87 workers against four employers for HK$138,000; Golden Tyrant Investment conceded and was ordered to pay HK$45,192.85; three absent defendants lost by default.
