Bank of East Asia (Trustees) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of East Asia, today announced it has won the “Best MPF Scheme” Award in metroBox Magazine’s Prime Awards for Banking and Finance Corporations 2011 programme.
metroBox’s editorial board and a panel of judges assessed entrants against six criteria: brand awareness and customer loyalty, accomplishments and achievements, product uniqueness, quality and standards, staff training, and marketing and development. BEA Trustees emerged the winner among the competing institutions.
The award recognises service quality, but workers choosing an MPF scheme should focus on fund performance, fees and whether services suit their personal needs. Industry awards are a useful reference — members can compare MPF funds across schemes and use MPF educational resources to learn how to evaluate trustees.
